Biography.co is a content-and-tools website. The tools produce draft biographies based on the details you provide. The drafts are starting points, not finished work, and they are not legal, employment, funeral, publishing, medical, or financial advice.

Your responsibility for content

• You are responsible for the accuracy of every name, date, relationship, credential, employer, achievement, military service detail, and death detail in your final biography.
• You are responsible for reviewing the draft before publishing or distributing it.
• You are responsible for obtaining permission from anyone whose life you write about — particularly for memorial, family, and minor biographies.
• You will not use the site to write defamatory, harassing, or illegal content, or to impersonate anyone.
• You will not enter information you do not have the right to share, including private medical, financial, or legal details about other people.

No guarantee of accuracy

AI-generated content can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Biography.co does not guarantee that any generated draft is accurate, suitable for a particular purpose, or free of errors. Always verify the facts before using a biography.

Refusal of harmful content

We may refuse, remove, or interrupt requests that involve harmful, illegal, or clearly abusive content, including content designed to harass or defame a specific person. We may also rate-limit or block clients that abuse the service.

Intellectual property

• You retain any rights you have in the content you submit and in the resulting drafts.
• Biography.co (the brand, the website, the codebase, the editorial library) is the property of its operator.
• Site templates, guides, and example biographies are provided for your personal use. Don't re-publish them as your own product.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Biography.co and its operators are not liable for any damages arising out of your use of the site — including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

If a court finds that the operator is liable, the operator's total liability is limited to USD 100.
